Life via iPhone

On December 15th, a very important event occured...I FINALLY got the iPhone 4s! To say I'm a tad obsessed with it may be an understatement! I've had an iPod touch for a couple years so I already had some favorite apps, but have definitely discovered some new favorites these past couple weeks! If you have any apps you just can't live without, lemme know!

I know I have been slacking on the blogging lately, so I thought I would share some photos I've taken with my new toy!

I became a college graduate on December 12th!! It was very much touch and go for a while there but I made it! I decided months ago I wanted to bedazzle my graduation cap and I am SOO happy with how it turned out!

This was the extent of my Christmas decorations. After finishing up finals, I ended up staying at my parent's house for about a week before heading over to my aunt's house to dog sit for 2 weeks. So there really was no time to bring out my tree :( But I absolutely love my Christmas wreath so I had to put it out, and it'll probably stay up until Valentine's day (it's pink and red...it works!!)

Couple graduation presents from my aunt...in case anyone was unsure what college I graduated from ;)

I told my mom I was so excited to start reading again. Since starting college I couldn't tell you the last book I actually read. I got this book for Christmas LAST year and could never find time to read it. I'm hoping in the new year I will be able to read at least one book a month!

Lusted just a tad over a pink mixer!

Admired my parent's Christmas tree

New favorite earrings I ordered from piperlime

tracked Santa on Christmas eve!

Hung out with my favorite fur baby!!

Was spoiled on Christmas morning

Probably got most excited about this gift! Mom swore up and down she wasn't buying anything online, yet somehow this showed up under the tree ;)

Hit 50,000 miles on my car...meaning I'm no longer under warranty (much to my father sadness!)

iPhone game obsession #2

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is looking forward to a fabulous new year!! 2011 was somewhat of a blah year so I am very much looking forward to 2012!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Lilly Pulitzer Tote in Kappa Kappa Gamma print
Lilly came out with four sorority prints last year and lucky for me Kappa was one of them, along with Delta Zeta, Tri Delta, and Kappa Delta. My friend has the DZ tote and these things are HUGE! Since I got my new laptop I've had issues because its too big to carry around in my Vineyard Vines or Coastal Traditions tote. So this would be PERFECT, even though this is my last semester in Kappa :(

Viva la Juicy Perfume
I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with this perfume!!! I was at Kohls with my mom and she had a 30% off coupon so I thought it would be a perfect time to pick up a new scent, since perfume NEVER goes on sale! I originally wanted to pick up one of the Ralph Lauren scents, but both Kohls we went to didn't have ANY :( So I sprayed this on and as I continued to walk around and smell it, I quickly fell in love...even my mom loves it! The bottle I picked up is on the smaller size, retailing for $29, but with the coupon and a leftover merchandise credit I had, I only ended up paying $12!! If you like girly scents I definitely recommend giving this one a try!
TOMS Sparkle in Black
When these shoes first came out I didn't get the attraction. But as I see them more and more on campus the more I want a pair!....specifically one of the sparkle pairs! I originally wanted to gold ones but I love the black too! Anybody have a sparkle pair they just love?

I have made some headway in deciding what I'm doing in the next couple months
Over spring break I had some time to think about my plans for the future. If you have been reading for a while or follow me on twitter, you know I have been trying for THREE years now to get into pharmacy school with little success. With it now being the middle of March and I still haven't heard anything from any school, I've had to make some decisions that right now I am content with. I have decided that instead of graduating in August with my Biology degree, I have decided to postpone graduation to December, when I would graduate with my Biology degree with a minor in chemistry. I only have 7 more hours of biology to complete and only need 8 more hours of chemistry for the minor. Ill be taking 1 class and 1 lab each summer session, so in the fall I can finish up the hours for me degree in addition to taking some classes that are prerequisites for schools that I may be applying to in the fall.
SOOO....that is my plan!

What are you loving this Wednesday?

Where have I been???

I have no excuse for the lack of blogs this past month. Yes graduation was a couple weeks ago but still, these lazy days of summer give me perfect opportunity to blog about my days.

Speaking of graduation, it went GREAT. I expected to be more emotional than I actually was. But my party that Saturday was so fun and relaxing. Everything went well, well...except for the cake. My mom made a cake with fondant icing, and they tell you you're not supposed to freeze it. Well, she did, and the icing flavor soaked into the cake. So it was not too tasty! But it still was BEAUTIFUL!! And all the flowers and pink and green theme turned out exactly as I wanted it too! So yes here are some pictures from that.

What I wore the day of the party:

Grey's Spinoff? Yes or No?

I can't decide yet whether or not I'm going to like this Grey's Anatomy spin-off. Even though she wrecked havoc on my favorite couple's relationship, Addison has become one of my favorite characters on the show. I do like the fact that they decided to let Addison go someplace bright and tropical. No offense to Seattle *I hear its a great city* but the show seems to give it an overall "blahness" or lack of color to it. This new beachy location gives the show color. But I'm thinking as long as her spinoff doesn't take away too much from the present characters, I think it will be good.
Anyways, I have come to realize that I love reading blogs, but I guess since the whole process is still new to me I dont have the habit of blogging myself on a regular basis. Hopefully this will be remedied after I graduate!! Gosh I cant believe in less than a month I will be finished with high school. My parents are throwing me a graduation party for the family and friends the Saturday after graduation, so were beginning to plan that. The colors for the party are going to be pink and green *of course* and I'm thinking the flowers are going to be deep pink gebera daises, but I'm not sure yet...any suggestions?? How else could I encorporate pink and green into the party?
